Psalm 73:26 says: “My health may fail and my spirit may grow weak, but God remains the strength of my heart; he is mine forever.”
When the sun begins to rise
And every man and woman sees its light
They shut down the noise of their alarm
Preferring to drowze a little bit more
They think, “it is just another day”
They think today will be just the same
They fall into the curse of routine
That’s how in the natural world it seems
We must understand, the joy of the Lord is our strength
Divine might only comes from heaven
We may get caught up and get dissapointed
But the Lord will shine through the eyes of his annointed
The circumstances arise, but heaven is the same
This world may fight but God will never change
My body may age, but my faith won’t fade away
My health may decay, but my trust in the Lord remains
You are mine and your arms are mine
Knowing this, I have the grace to fight
You’re the adrenaline to my weakness
You are the cure to all my sickness
And I praise you, God!
